What We Collect

When you use dtto, we collect:

• Account info — your phone number and name
• Contacts — phone numbers from your contact list (hashed and encrypted)
• Selections — who you choose within the app
• Device info — basic device and usage analytics

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to power the dtto matching experience. We use your contacts to identify other dtto users you know. We never sell your data.

Contact Privacy

Your contact list is hashed before being sent to our servers. We cannot read your contacts in plain text. Contact data is used solely for matching and is never shared with third parties.

Selection Privacy

Your selections are completely private. No one — not even the person you selected — will ever know unless they also select you. This is the core promise of dtto.

Data Storage & Security

We use industry-standard encryption and security practices. Your data is stored on secure servers and access is strictly limited.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app. Upon deletion, all your data — including selections and contact hashes — is permanently removed.

Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We may use service providers (hosting, analytics) who are bound by strict data protection agreements.
